Before you can use Sideloadly to sideload apps, you need to download and install it on your computer. Here are the steps to do that:

Make sure you have the following requirements and prerequisites for Sideloadly:

  • A PC running Windows 7 or later, or a Mac running macOS 10.13 or later.

  • An iOS device running iOS 7 or later, or an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 11 or later, or an Apple TV running tvOS 10 or later.

  • A USB cable to connect your device to your computer, or a Wi-Fi connection for wireless sideloading.

  • An Apple ID with a valid email and password, or a paid Apple Developer account.

  • The latest version of iTunes installed on your computer.

  • The IPA file of the app you want to sideload.

  • Go to the official Sideloadly website and download the latest version of Sideloadly for your operating system. You can choose between the Windows installer, the macOS installer, or the portable version for both platforms.

  • Run the installer and follow the instructions to install Sideloadly on your computer. If you are using the portable version, you can simply extract the zip file and run the executable file.

  • Launch Sideloadly from your desktop or start menu. You should see a window like this:

If you encounter any errors or issues while launching Sideloadly, you can check the FAQ section on the website for possible solutions. Some common errors are:

  • Sideloadly not opening or crashing on launch. This could be caused by antivirus software blocking Sideloadly, outdated drivers, corrupted files, or missing dependencies. You can try disabling your antivirus, updating your drivers, reinstalling Sideloadly, or installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and .NET Framework.

  • Sideloadly not detecting your device. This could be caused by a faulty USB cable, a disabled USB port, an incompatible iTunes version, or a trust issue between your device and computer. You can try using a different USB cable, changing the USB port, updating iTunes, or trusting your computer on your device.

  • Sideloadly not finding any IPA files. This could be caused by a wrong file extension, a hidden file attribute, a corrupted IPA file, or a missing IPA file. You can try renaming the file extension to .ipa, showing hidden files on your computer, downloading a new IPA file, or locating the IPA file in your downloads folder.

Congratulations! You have successfully sideloaded an app to your iOS device or Apple Silicon Mac with Sideloadly. How to update, refresh, or uninstall sideloaded apps with Sideloadly

Sideloadly not only allows you to install sideloaded apps, but also to update, refresh, or uninstall them. Here are the steps to do that:

How to update sideloaded apps with Sideloadly

If you want to update your sideloaded apps to the latest version, you can use Sideloadly to do that. Here are the steps to do that:

  • Launch Sideloadly on your computer and connect your device via USB cable or Wi-Fi.

  • Click on the "Installed Apps" button on the Sideloadly window. You will see a list of all the sideloaded apps on your device.

  • Look for the app you want to update and check if there is a green "Update" button next to it. If there is, it means there is a newer version of the app available.

  • Click on the "Update" button and wait for Sideloadly to download and install the update. You will see a progress bar and a log window showing the update status.

  • Wait for the update process to finish. You will see a message saying "Done" when it's completed.

  • Go to your device and launch the app. You should see the updated version of the app.

Note: If there is no "Update" button next to the app, it means there is no newer version of the app available, or Sideloadly cannot find it. In that case, you can try to manually download the latest IPA file of the app and sideload it again with Sideloadly.

How to refresh sideloaded apps with Sideloadly

If you are using a free Apple ID to sideload apps, you might encounter an issue where your apps stop working after a few days. This is because free Apple IDs have a 7-day certificate expiration limit, which means your apps will expire after 7 days and you will have to sideload them again. However, you can use Sideloadly to refresh your apps before they expire and extend their validity. Here are the steps to do that:

  • Launch Sideloadly on your computer and connect your device via USB cable or Wi-Fi.

  • Click on the "Installed Apps" button on the Sideloadly window. You will see a list of all the sideloaded apps on your device.

  • Look for the app you want to refresh and check if there is a yellow "Refresh" button next to it. If there is, it means your app is about to expire and you can refresh it.

  • Click on the "Refresh" button and wait for Sideloadly to refresh your app certificate. You will see a progress bar and a log window showing the refresh status.

  • Wait for the refresh process to finish. You will see a message saying "Done" when it's completed.

  • Go to your device and launch the app. You should see that your app is working again and its expiration date has been extended.

Note: If there is no "Refresh" button next to the app, it means your app is not expiring soon or it has already expired. In that case, you can try to sideload it again with Sideloadly.

Tips and tricks for using Sideloadly effectively

Sideloadly is a powerful and versatile tool that can help you enjoy your favorite apps on your iOS device or Apple Silicon Mac. However, there are some tips and tricks that can help you use Sideloadly more effectively and efficiently. Here are some of them:

How to use Wi-Fi sideloading and JIT compilation features

One of the coolest features of Sideloadly is Wi-Fi sideloading, which allows you to sideload apps without connecting your device via USB cable. This can save you time and hassle, especially if you have multiple devices or a long cable. To use Wi-Fi sideloading, you need to enable it on both your computer and your device. Here are the steps to do that:

  • Launch Sideloadly on your computer and connect your device via USB cable.

  • Click on the "Options" button on the Sideloadly window and check the "Enable Wi-Fi Sideloading" checkbox.

  • Go to your device and launch the Settings app.

  • Go to General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync > Your Computer Name > Sync Now.

  • Disconnect your device from the USB cable. You should see a Wi-Fi icon next to your device name on the Sideloadly window.

Now you can sideload apps wirelessly as long as your computer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Another cool feature of Sideloadly is JIT compilation, which allows certain apps to run faster and work better by surpassing iOS restrictions. JIT stands for Just-In-Time, which means the app code is compiled at runtime instead of beforehand. This can improve the performance and compatibility of some apps, especially emulators and games. To use JIT compilation, you need to enable it on both your computer and your device. Here are the steps to do that:

  • Launch Sideloadly on your computer and connect your device via USB cable or Wi-Fi.

  • Click on the "Options" button on the Sideloadly window and check the "Enable JIT Compilation" checkbox.

  • Sideloading an app that supports JIT compilation, such as Delta Emulator or PPSSPP.

  • Go to your device and launch the Settings app.

  • Go to General > Device Management > Your Apple ID > Trust.

  • Launch the app and enjoy the improved performance and compatibility.

Note: JIT compilation only works with certain apps that support it, and it may not work with all devices or iOS versions. You can check the app description or website for more information about JIT support.

How to sideload multiple or duplicate apps with different bundle IDs

Sometimes you might want to sideload multiple or duplicate apps with different bundle IDs on your device. For example, you might want to have different versions of the same app, or different accounts for the same app, or different settings for the same app. To do that, you can use Sideloadly to change the bundle ID of the app before sideloading it. The bundle ID is a unique identifier for each app that tells iOS how to handle it. By changing the bundle ID, you can trick iOS into thinking that it's a different app. Here are the steps to do that:

  • Launch Sideloadly on your computer and connect your device via USB cable or Wi-Fi.

  • Select the IPA file of the app you want to sideload multiple or duplicate times.Click on the "Options" button on the Sideloadly window and change the "Bundle ID" field to something different. For example, you can add a number or a letter to the end of the original bundle ID.

  • Click on the "Start" button to sideload the app with the new bundle ID. You will see a progress bar and a log window showing the installation status.

  • Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each app you want to sideload with a different bundle ID. Make sure you use a different bundle ID for each app.

  • Go to your device and look for the app icons on your home screen. You should see multiple or duplicate apps with different names and icons.

Note: Changing the bundle ID of an app may affect its functionality or compatibility. Some apps may not work properly or at all with a different bundle ID. You can check the app description or websi
